Ensuno House is a specialised mother-and-baby residential unit dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for mothers and their children aged 0 to 5. Our mission is to support mothers in developing the skills and confidence required to care for their children effectively, always prioritising the welfare and safeguarding of each child.

Our Story

Ensuno House more than just a facility; it represents a heritage of love, compassion, and support. The name “Ensuno” pays tribute to the Haughton family’s late grandmother, who dedicated over 30 years to nurturing children and promoting their growth. Her commitment to helping others has inspired Dawn to follow a path in social work, while her daughters have blended their professional skills with a heartfelt desire to contribute to the community.

Meet The Team

Responsible Individual & Lead Social Worker

Dawn Haughton is a highly experienced Senior Social Worker with over 25 years of expertise in children’s services. Her extensive knowledge includes managing complex family cases, conducting PAMS (Parenting Assessment Manual Software) assessments, and chairing court proceedings. As the Responsible Individual at Ensuno House, Dawn is dedicated to ensuring that all residents receive exceptional care, tailored guidance, and comprehensive support in a safe and nurturing environment.

Registered Manager

Nadine Haughton brings a wealth of experience from her background in corporate governance, specialising in data protection and privacy regulations, including GDPR compliance. She also has hands-on experience delivering mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapies during her tenure with the NHS. Nadine holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, further solidifying her credentials. Importantly, Nadine is also a qualified life coach with extensive experience in CV building, interview preparation, and career advice, offering valuable guidance to help mothers with their career progression.

Jemimah Lawrence complements the team with her robust legal expertise and certification in PAMS (Parenting Assessment Manual Software) assessments, ensuring rigorous and comprehensive evaluations to support family development.
